This marks the second anniversary of the start of the U.S. invasion of Iraq. A number of events are in the planning stage. You may wish to help. *** Mid-day march and rally against the war. 12:30 p.m. assemble at Dunlavy Park (Dunlavy and Castle Ct. near U.S. 59). 1 p.m. march to Bell Park (Montrose and Banks St), where there will be a rally with speakers, musicians, and much more. A gathering to honor the U.S. and Iraqi victims with song, reflection, and silence. There’ll songs for peace, a few speakers, and candles to remember the lost lives. Also informational literature. Sixteen representatives from 9 different spiritual paths will present expressions of peace from their respective traditions. An Interfaith Peace Fair, where these groups and others will have booths, exhibits, presentations, music, food, and more, will run concurrently at Guinan Hall at the University of St. Thomas next door to the Rothko Chapel. 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 1409 Sul Ross.
