Peaceful Protest Is Back On

“Love Conquers Hate”



SUGAR LAND, TX. Protesting Bigotry and Anti-Muslim Ideology: Sugar Land Democrats Club announce a peaceful public protest. Stand with us to protest the bigotry of Ms. Pamela Geller and her adherents at the Sugar Land Tea Party.

Event to be protested: The Sugar Land Tea Party is having Ms. Pamela Geller, the anti-Muslim movement's most visible spokesperson speak in Sugar Land at the city of Sugar Land Community Center. She will be speaking about her recent book, "Stop the Islamization of America". The Sugar Land Tea Party in their press release for this event wrote this about the book, "much needed wake-up call about a sinister, subversive agenda that could do nothing less than destroy the United States."

Why: Stand up for our beliefs, our Democratic principles of diversity, and for our Muslim brothers and sisters who are being persecuted by this anti-Muslim crusader and her supporters.

When: TODAY Tuesday, October 18th 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Where: Sugar Land Community Center / 226 Matlage Way / Sugar Land, Texas 77478

Directions: Southwest Freeway to Highway 90 exit. Go west. Travel west about 2 miles to the old Sugar Mill factory site. As soon as you are very close to old Sugar Mill factory site turn left on Brooks Street. Then a quick right on Guenther. Quick left on Matlage.

What to bring: Your Democratic Spirit and signs in support of diversity and against bigotry. Supplies for making signs will be available. No air horns allowed. This is a peaceful demonstration to show solidarity for diversity.

Let’s send a message to the fear mongers and haters in Sugar Land and Fort Bend County that the likes of Ms. Pamela Geller and her bigoted ideology are not welcome here in the 4th most racially diverse county in the USA.
