Questions Raised Over Perry Campaign’s Reimbursements for Use of Private Plane
In the first two weeks of Rick Perry’s presidential campaign, his aides turned to Brian D. Pardo, a Texas businessman under investigation by federal securities regulators, to use his Cessna Citation X business jet to fly to campaign events.

2. Same as it ever was
Perry just thinks he's "privileged" and above the laws. Silly laws they're not for republican politicians. They only apply to Democrats and other poor people.

But had the campaign rented the same plane from a charter company, it could have cost up to three times as much, other interviews suggest. Because of changes in federal campaign regulations, that raises the question of whether Mr. Perry, the Texas governor, effectively received an unreported campaign contribution by underpaying Mr. Pardo.

Can't wait for the day that his photo is in the national news with the headline that he's calling it quits. He is so not ready for prime time. Plus it makes Texas look bad once again. :(

3. Just birds of a feather!!
Mr. Pardo, in an interview Monday, said he had never discussed with Governor Perry investigations either by the federal Securities and Exchange Commission or by Texas regulators into his company, Life Partners Holdings of Waco, which arranges for investors to buy shares of life insurance policies.
