1. A miniscule amount
fell in Austin today as well. I was in a movie theater and missed it, but I saw little puddles outside as I left the parking lot.

3. We got a little in S. Austin
I was so happy to see it. Not a whole lot but it did cool the temperatures down nicely.

I'll credit all the ACL folks in town for the music. Their positive attitudes brought the rain!

4. Being and ex pat but life long Texas I check their radar
occasionally.

Spring and fall are the only rainy seasons in Texas so hopefully they can do some catching up in the next two months, December being typically the driest month of the year. And then hope for some long spring rains.

My formative years were in the 50's and for all practical purposes the entire decade was a drought. Let's hope the SW doesn't go there again.

And for those who are Texas hater, there is a high probability that the gas in your car and the food on your table came in large part from Texas.

Assuming for discussions sake if Texas seceded, they could more than make up in export tarrifs what they would loose in Federal dollars. And They could tax the NAFTA goods that cross the Texas boarder, by weight and miles traveled on Texas roads.

And by the way Perry is an ass hole.

8. Rain Cells In Williamson County In Mid-Afternoon
There were rain cells, some vigorous, in Williamson County on mid-Saturday afternoon. I drove through a couple of them coming home from a hobby show in Temple. No sign of much activity here in Travis County.

:-(

Well it appears it's gonna rain here in Pt Arthur today. My mom and I will have a wet drive home, but I'm not complaining one bit!

12. Congratulations to you!
I know it is a 'drop in the bucket' but even a little bit must be a relief.

maybe it rained cuz perry finally stopped praying, and in gratitude Mother Nature sent some rain. :)

14. Did you get any rain tonight?
It's raining up here in DFW. There was a good shower this morning in the Pt Arthur area. I was hoping that my drive home would be rain all the way, but alas as soon as we passed Anahuac on I-10 there was no more rain.

16. Yea!
I love rain! And in honor of rain, I'm going to see "Rain - A Tribute to the Beatles" this week. Nothing to do with precipitation but just keeping rain in our thoughts.

For about three hours. The weather guy on the TV station in Tyler said we got at least an inch.

And it's cool outside now. 73 degrees.
