Arlington police say they arrested 59 people on prostitution-related counts during a Super Bowl-week undercover operation.

An Arlington police statement says undercover officers answered online escort advertisements and ran online ads of their own to solicit clients

2. Victimless crimes for a victim's society
These fucks had nothing better to do that week so they caught a few out of town johns who will quickly pay to keep their 'conviction' quiet. And for 51 weeks, the ads and prostitutes can work without fear.

4. Far from victimless. There are crime rings kidnapping young women and forcing them into this life.
San Diego is a hotbed for such activity. The pimps then transport them out of state including to events such as the SuperBowl. Gangs are behind this, and it's a new and frightening phenomena according to San Diego Police.

Many though not all of the girls and women kidnapped are minors. Not all are from poor areas, either. Some were kidnapped from wealthy neighborhoods. No girl or woman is safe.

3. How many involved minors?
Authorities were claiming that a flood of child prostitutes are brought to these events.

I read somewhere that it was a bunch of bullshit.

6. If everybody was an adult this is a waste of police resources
and arguably entrapment.

7. To be fair
Prostitution is not victimless. There are women and girls, many of them undocumented, forced into the trade. This vice would be best treated the same as marijuana: legalized, heavily regulated, taxed significantly.

If we weren't governed by the Talibaptists, that is.
