1. Climate change is real
And what we are experiencing now is manmade. The end.

I don't recall two big ice storms in one winter, do you?

2. No, in answer to how often we in central Tx have snow. We have ice or snow so rarely.

3. In the 1970s we had snow every other year (D/FW)
It was usually warm in December, but January or February we would have snow--real snow, soft and flaky--about every other year. This ice storm stuff is different. I keep thinking of that "hockey stick" graphic in Al Gore's movie. That's our new reality.

5. Me too!
My boss is in Orlando this week for meetings. I know he's hating the meetings, so I sent him an email this morning:
"The upside to being in Orlando" with tomorrow's weather forecast posted.

It's funny I've lived here my whole life, I hate the summer. I hate this freakish ice/snow. But there's no way in hell I'd move. :P
