Rowlett Tea Party Forum could be opportunity for us Dems…
Perry declined to appear but Bill White will be there. Any dems in the area might want to come show their support for White and outshine the Tea Party.:

“The Rowlett TEA Party is presenting a non-partisan candidate forum on Saturday, September 25. Candidates for governor, Bill White and Kathie Glass, will attend (Perry declined), and a good representation of other races in our area. See the website listed for a complete list of candidates attending.

Meet and Greet the Candidates
Saturday, September 25
5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
First United Methodist Church
4405 Main Street,
Rowlett, TX 75088
…..”

And this should be his turf right?

I hope Bill can hold keep this from being a bash-fest. He is certainly wading in deep waters...

2. I don't know how deep the water is in Rowlett...
We're a small burb but the TP is really making an effort here. Maybe I'll go and wear my Obama T-shirt and drag the camera along - ;) this could be interesting.

● 8:10 - 8:55 - Judicial Candidates - There are, at this time, a great number of Judicial Candidates that will have to split 45 minutes between them. That will give each candidate a brief time to speak.

We will take a *head count* of the judicial candidates and then divide time equally among all. If any more judicial candidates accept, the time for each to speak will decrease. We are trying to give ALL of you an opportunity to speak briefly on stage but additional candidates attending is beyond our control.

Due to the nature of the job judicial candidates are facing, we will NOT be asking questions. We would like to have each of you speak briefly to the audience regarding the issues that most affect your Court, or the Court you are running for.

● 8:55 - 9:00 Closing statements from Tea Party

PLEASE NOTE: Time limits WILL be enforced as a courtesy to ALL!

ALL Candidates that are speaking and have their opposition speaking as well, in an effort to be FAIR and BALANCED, we don't care sho speaks 1st, it's up to you and your opponent. We suggest a coin toss to decide who speaks 1st.
