1. I am becoming a bit of a Texas history freak, along with my son.
It is amazing, when you have lived almost 3 decades in another state, how much there is to learn outside of the Alamo. :hi:

4. Have you been to the San Jacinto Memorial yet?
Pretty interesting. You could also take a day trip to Goliad & check out the fort where Fannin's troops were decimated.

5. We go to the San Jacinto memorial quite a bit and went to Goliad
once. It's incredibly interesting history. Another favorite is Washington on the Brazos.

If you're into parks, Garner is great & Lost Maples outside of San Antonio is good too. :)
