'Way down here in SW Austin.

In the last hour I've seen rain, sleet, snow. Pretty much whatever can fall from the sky, has.

2. I got lots of pics
The Snowmageddon of 2010. It was cool. I'm a block away from an elementary school and you could hear the kids screaming out in glee. They were having a blast playing in the movie snow.

It didn't even look like real stuff. Very puffy and wet. Sure was pretty.

Now back to our global warming deniers - because you know if it snows in central Texas in late February - well you know the crazy rant. I want to hear Rick Perry shoot his mouth off about it like Faux news. I dare you Perry, I double dog dare you.

:kick:

5. The height of the storm in my back yard

It was really wet, slushy snow. Good for making snowballs. They would really sting if you got hit.

4. The Seattle area has gotten zero snow this year.
I have only seen snow when I've gone out into the mountains.

Sounds like we could put together a DU weekend breakfast. Are you game?

14. Possibly.
I am only in Austin Wednesday - Saturday. I fly out Saturday afternoon, but I might get together with my parents that morning.

The County Convention is March 20. I reckon that could be a conflict for a lot of us.

Bummer.

As NoPasaran pointed out the county convention is Saturday the 20th, so I'll probably be there too. Too bad you're headed out on Saturday.

Oh well, have fun while you're in town. Hope we get nice weather just for you. I mean sunny and warm and not snow. :)

7. Fun for you, but I'm glad nothing stuck today in the DFW area
After the foot of snow a week and a half ago, I'm glad I'm not suffering through that right now. :)
