Rassmussen: White = 40%, goodhair = 50%
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections2/election_2010/election_2010_governor_elections/texas/election_2010_texas_governor

snip-

Like other Democrats around the country, White appears to be suffering from his party’s championing of the unpopular national health care plan. In Texas, 39% favor the plan, while 57% oppose it, numbers comparable to national findings. The passion as is generally the case is on the side of the opponents, too: 50% of Texas voters Strongly Oppose the plan versus 20% who Strongly Favor it.

The disproportionate split between those who feel strongly about the issue benefits the top two Republicans. Both Perry and Hutchison carry roughly 80% of the vote of the larger group that strongly opposes the health care plan, while White gets similar support from those who strongly favor it.

Well, the corporate-sponsored teabaggers have convinced a good portion of voters to vote against their own best interests and against 1 out of 4 Texans without health insurance. Hopefully White can reframe this issue to sway some of the 6% "not sure" to vote for him.

1. If it's Rasmussen you can pretty much take it ot the bank
that the Democrat is winning even though his poll says otherwise. Rasumssen is the biggest political polling whore around.

3. I try to keep in mind that this was a poll of only 1000 likely voters
and I haven't seen any ads for White yet. He might be waiting until after the repub. primary before he starts advertising. 10% is a gap, but I still think this race is within reach. :)

2. Yeah but it's early still
Wait until Perry has to go into a runoff with KBH, then lets check the pulse.
