1. there are so many issues with this I don't know where to start
CPC's are federally funded, and I'm sure there's state funding in there somewhere too. I'm thinking, although I'm not 100% sure (thanks for muddying the waters, W, you fucking dumbass) that a very blatant Christian ministry position violates separation of church and state. I'm not even sure who you'd call this into.

2. Yes they get state money
This is what your Lege does for you. They take away money from Planned Parenthood which does family planning services under the excuse of "all they do is abortions" and they waste money on these non-profits that preach but really aren't making a dent in reducing abortions.

I think I read an article recently that one of these pregnancy crisis centers had an enormous administration overhead. The Executive Director of one was making more than $100,000 a year.

This group and several others will get money from the "choose life" license plates.
AAS 5/5/09
(snip)
Money from the “choose life” plates would go to centers that offer counseling and other services to pregnant women who are considering giving their children up for abortion. Supporters of abortion rights say those centers are unregulated, spend too much money on administration and sometimes give inaccurate information.

3. This is outrageous. They are using tax dollars to promote Christianity
and Christian beliefs. Sneaky bastards. I hope a Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Wiccan woman applies and sues for discrimination.
