With all your help we lead the Conroe Courier poll by as much as 70% until Friday evening. We are now at 42%, and losing the poll to the Perry supporting Republicans. We need 300 more votes before Tuesday to overtake them.

If you're like me, I think Perry has put himself out on a limb on this issue, and I want to cut it off. He will be less likely to visit Montgomery County in the 2006 election, and less likely to help his Republican friends if we clearly show Montgomery County does not support him.

Please go to the internet address below and vote no to the poll if you have not done this already. The poll allows 1 vote for each computer, so if you have more than one vote on them all. Next, forward this note to all your Democratic friends using the "forward to a friend" button below so they can also participate. Lastly, if you have a computer at work, please also vote there.

Please go to this site and vote against Rick Perry's attempt to cut off extended unemployment insurance for Texas citizens. He is playing politics at the expense of our most vulnerable citizens.
