Need a bumper sticker.
We got our new Prius last week!

I couldn't wait to put my "Goldens for Obama" and 'Limited Edition' Obama-Biden round magnets on our new car.

Alas - whatever the front and rear of the Prius is made of, it won't hold a magnet.

So - does anyone in the Austin area have a spare Obama-Biden bumpersticker I can put to good use?

I'll be glad to (hybrid-ly) cruise by to pick it up.

Thanks!

Each one will run you about $1. They have the very nice Obama/Biden ones with Obama logo.

The coordinated campaign is located at
1107 N. I-35, Austin TX 78702
In between 11th and 12th Streets right off IH-35 right next door to the CVS pharmacy store.

You can't miss the huge campaign signs.

Congratulations on the new car!

4. Thanks, Sonia.
I didn't know about that office. It sounds like the old Safeway store.

Hmmmm . . . when did Safeway leave Austin - about thirty years ago? Guess that dates me! :)

Thanks again. That'll be an easy detour as I make my way into Austin today.

5. It is the old Safeway store
So you've been in Austin a while to remember that. I remember it too. Once the coordinated campaign is over in November the site is going to be a RunTex store.

6. Yep, I graduated from high school in East Texas in '62, came to UT
and except for temporary stays in other states, I've been here ever since.

Well, "here" is meant loosely. Our house in the University area burned down eight years ago, and we repaired to the countryside outside Elgin with our menagerie of Golden Retrievers.

We still own our store in North Austin, though, so we're definitely a part of Austin.

8. There are lots for sale at Travis Co HQ
at 11th and I-35. All styles, and I think they're only a buck or two. I already gave away all my extra "Texans for Obama" stickers.
