It took 18 months, but I won!

Our Super DeLux Brand Christian Republican County Commissioner Andy Meyers lawyered-up but was found guilty anyway. Guilty. Guilty. Guilty. Of ethics violations.

Yes, sireee. Ethics violations. Andy Meyers – that self-righteous son of a motherless goat who never, ever makes mistakes.

They finally reached a settlement agreement in the ethics complaint I filed against Andy Meyers 18 months ago.

The good news is that I was right. The better news is that Andy was wrong.

Andy will now be listed on the Texas Ethics Commissioner’s Wall of Shame for all eternity. He is only the second person in the history of Fort Bend County to have his name enshrined on the “Look, Ma, no ethics!” wall.

I love this passage: Like Momma says, “You can go to hell for lying same as you can for stealing,” and Andy managed to do both in one sworn statement. He’s going to hell. I wouldn’t stand next to him in a thunderstorm.
