So are we all ready to go?
I called my school and got the gym for the convention.

I found out we can have someone other than the judge drive our returns down, too.

I have all my clerks.

I think I'm ready!

2. I'm ready as I can be. Kinda nervous about convention turnout
as this precinct usually only has 40 Dem primary votes in a presidential year. If our turnout grows as much as I'm hearing in early voting the convention space may get crowded--make that cozy. Yeah, cozy, that's it!

3. I am amazingly nervous about turnout.
That's why I booked the gym. If only 50 or so people turn up, we can always go back to the auditorium, but you know how the auditoriums are in those primary schools: SMALL.

4. I am unfortunately forced to hold my convention in the rec room of a senior living place

We have two precincts voting there, so we'll have to split up that room!

I anticipate 50 caucusers (which would be a 300% increase). Still, a bit scary.

6. We're still tearing our hair out over the math portion

I think I get it, but everyone else is

:banghead:

Oh, & the page from the state party that has the results phone line for you to use? Is precinct-specific, so make sure your precinct has the correct page.

7. Thanks for the tip!
What's the confusion about the math? It doesn't seem hard to me?

8. I don't know
but it's been so long since we've had precinct conventions, I think a lot of people are getting thrown out of their comfort zone & that's having an impact on understanding the formula.
