Sorry I didn't keep up the liveblogging. My phone ran out of juice.

Reunion Arena was pretty damn near full, and it holds something like 16,000. Hopefully Texas Thought Criminal will post some more pictures, since I think he got some good ones. I have to say it was an amazing experience and I think I've converted the friends I brought. :D

I may very well go to a Clinton rally if she comes. I'd like to see what she has to say. Right now the only thing she has scheduled in Dallas is one of those high-dollar fundraisers, later in the month. I'm assuming she's going to do a large event as well (she'd be crazy not to!) but I haven't heard where or when.

15. I went too!!!

It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. My son and daughter were there to share it with me. We got in line at 7:30am. If I had to guess, we were about 400-500 people from the front. We sat behind the podium just above where he came out about 10 rows up. The crowd was incredible and it was so awesome to see so may YOUNG people there. I got some pic's on my phone but haven't taken them off to put on my comp yet.

we almost went down to the floor but after standing for three hours there was no way i could've stood for another two hours. Our seats were really great though.

22. I wanted to go, but shucks, there was already a line at 7 that morning!

I couldn't stand in line that long....I had to work at least a partial day, AND I can't go that long without going to the bathroom! (the speech was going to be noon to 1:00p.m. or so)

So I watched part of it on streaming video online, while he was in person just a few blocks away. Shucks.

It must have been a great experience. I remember back in the 80s seeing Jesse Jackson speak. It was incredible, full of energy. I am sure that Obama has that same type of charisma.
