Austin Voter Registration Events 2/2-2/4
The deadline for registering voters so they can participate in the March 4th primary is Monday February the 4th. Here's a couple of ways you can help Austin if you're interested.

HISPANIC CANDIDATES "MEET UP" And Voter Registration drive

2:00 pm to 6:00pm

This promises to be a great event for Hispanic voters to learn
more about the candidates. Invite your friends and have a good
time. We will be registering voters at this event.

Music and food will be provided

Help Register Voters on the Final Day to Register Before the Primary!

9 locations registering voters from 8:00 am to midnight

MONDAY, February 4th
You can help make Democracy work in Austin!
Give 4 hours to work a shift. Daytime shifts needed!


Are you a Voter Registrar interested in registering voters throughout the day on Monday, February 4th? Volunteers are needed to table at the following locations and times:

  • Riverside Grocery (Parker & East Riverside) @ 1727 E Riverside Dr
    Volunteer to table here for all shifts: 8 AM to Noon / Noon to 4 PM / 4 PM to 8 PM / 8 PM to Midnight

  • Goodwill @ 2800 S Lamar
    Volunteer to table here from 8 AM to Noon / Noon to 4 PM

  • Krispy Kreme Doughnuts @ 701 E Stasney Dr
    Volunteer to table here for all shifts: 8 AM to Noon / Noon to 4 PM / 4 PM to 8 PM / 8 PM to Midnight

  • Whole Foods Market @ 6th at Lamar
    Volunteer to table here from 8 AM to Noon / 4 PM to 8 PM / 8 PM to Midnight

  • MT Supermarket - Chinatown Center @ 10901 N. Lamar Blvd.
    Volunteer to table here for all shifts: 8 AM to Noon, Noon to 4 PM, 4 PM to 8 PM, 8 PM to Midnight

  • University Co-Op on the Drag @ 2246 Guadalupe
    Volunteer to table here from Noon to 4 PM

    Can't Work a full shift?
    Drop by a location to help.

    Visibility in High Traffic Areas:
    Wave a Sign

    Each location will have signs to wave that say "Register to Voter HERE"
    Drop by and help direct traffic into these sites.
    Standing in the street on South Congress waving a sign, directing folks to the Guero's site, for example.

    And you better check your registrations too. Otherwise you might end up in that "provisional ballot" trash bin. You know only 25% of provisional ballots actually get counted.

    The SOS has a new Verify Your Registration tool
    Am I Registered?

    Don't panic if you can't find yourself through your driver's licence number. Us older folks who have been registered for decades or at least pre-HAVA (2002)aren't in their database with a license number. You'll have to use you VUID to check your status.

    You Voter Unique Identifier (VUID) can be located on your voter registration certificate in the box titled "VUID" which is 10 digits in length.
