Barn Dance in South Austin Sunday

The lovely and talented Leeann Atherton is hosting another of her fabulous South Austin Barn Dances this Sunday evening, Sept. 26. Bring a dish for potluck, pony up $10 (OK, $5 if you really can’t afford $10) and come listen to fabled singer-songwriter Dana Cooper (www.danacoopermusic.com) and other special musical guests playing from ‘round about 4 p.m. to 9:30.

The Barn is at 3600 S. 2nd Street, two blocks north of Banister Lane (which parallels Ben White Boulevard on the north side, from S. 2nd to west of the railroad tracks).

It being that time of year, we’ll have a voter registration table, and I’ll be there with all the Democratic candidate yard signs you can shake a stick at, plus bumper stickers for distribution, volunteer signup sheets ...

And of course taking donations to do Precinct 409’s part to assist the Travis County Coordinated Campaign that is charging forth to help ALL our Democratic candidates. The TCCC is working hard to get out the vote and show the Republican Party that Texas Democrats are fightin’ back and here to stay!
