DeLay's REAL letter of resignation
"As you are aware, I have been indicted twice, my former staff members will soon be in jail , and I have a high priced Democratic lawyer putting the screws to me so I will avoid being screwed in prison. All the while, you and my party have run away from me as if I had loaded my pants. As a result, I am informing you of my intention to formally resign as the representative of the 22nd Congressional District of Texas to be effective at the close of business on June 9, 2006."
