If re-elected, DeLay “will do exactly what he’s been doing for 20 years”

WASHINGTON - Rep. Tom DeLay has rarely faced a serious challenge in the 22 years he has held office, dispatching opponents with seemingly little effort.

This year, after being forced out of his job as House majority leader amid corruption and campaign finance scandals, DeLay, R-Texas, has waged an aggressive campaign to defeat three opponents in Tuesday’s primary election. The winner would face former Democratic congressman Nick Lampson in November.

If re-elected, DeLay “will do exactly what he’s been doing for 20 years” in Congress, like fighting for tax reform, the war on terror and more transportation dollars, spokeswoman Shannon Flaherty said.

I would finish that "If re-elected, DeLay "will do exactly what he's been doing for 20 years" in Congress, . . .

a little differently!

1. Let me try....
He will continue bribing Congressman, taking golfing trips with lobbyists indicted for federal crimes, hold up funding for those who vote against him, use strong arm tactics in Congress, and doing the work of the people, like shutting down casinos in other states, making fools out of his party, interfering with other family's personal tragedies and embarrassing his constituents.

this week? There's a response in there to one of your LTTEs; I think you're getting under someone's skin. Good job! It's very interesting that all the guy could do was bash past Dems' history; not much was mentioned about the current regime. Guess there's not all that much to be happy about.
As for DeLay, I'm starting to see a few yard signs supporting him; not much I can do but shake my head and wonder.:(

3. I like your version
particularly embarrassing his constituents. I'm tired of being one of those embarrassed constituents!! I'm ready for that to be over with in November.
