2. Great idea BlueCollar
And hello :hi:

If this brave woman was willing to stand up, we should stand with her. And besides that if she's a friend of TexasLady she's one of ours too. Bless her and the people that came out and stood with her later. And damn bad cops, they are everywhere.

Keep us posted if you work out a date for your protest.

Sonia

6. wow this would be SO cool!
Amber doesnt have access to a computer, so I read her the thread last night. It actually happened in nearby Temple, on a loop in town, right off I35. As I read each thing others said about her, she was just gigglin, and so happy that so many others feel the way she does. I am very proud of this woung woman, and she has already told me she will absolutely be out again, and again, and again. "I" sure as hell will be with her! I cant STAND the stinkin attitudes that prevail in this area.

8. Tell Amber to call the Crawford Peace House.
Tell her not to be shy and call 254-486-0099. There is a Vet for Peace member who is there alot of the time. They can put her in touch with activists in the area that would be more than willing to stand with her.

(I spent a week down there at the first of the month and made several trips into Temple. She is very brave and I applaud her!)

7. well it looks good so far
I'll respond in this manner in order to comment in general...

As Crispini said...we've got a primary to work on, but I doubt the shrub will have this settled before then...

I understand there's plans for Crawford upcoming too...

Since we just heard about this maybe we should float it amongst ourselves and see what might be the best way to co-ordinate a meetup to show our support.
