What's being voted on March 7, and who can vote? Just got a call
from DeLay's political action committee regarding my views and whether I'm voting March 7. Can someone enlighten me?
If one is under indictment, can he still run for anything? I'm a newbie at local politics, and am confused!

1. TX primaries are March 7. Any registered voter can[participate but only for
Democratic or Republican sides.

2. March 7th is primary day............
He's been indited, but he hasn't been convicted, YET!!!!

Like any two-bit crook, he's innocent, until proved guilty.

I wish I believed that, so I'd be eligible to sit on his jury.

3. You're eligible M, however the defense would disqualify you
I can absolutely guarantee that Dick DeGuerin is going to have the latest primary voter file on his handy laptop when they sit the jury. He will challenge as many triple Ds as he can get away with, honey. So neither you nor I would ever get a chance to sit on that jury.

Think of it this way merci_me - a jury of his peers would really mean Jack Abramoff, Mike Scanlon, Ralph Reed, Scooter Libby, Karl Rove - and other two-bit crooks in this administration.

4. Then they better hurry with that trial
before all of his peers are not eligible, since they could all be convicted felons by that time.
