A New Blog in DeLays district by Johncoby
Welcome to the Bay Area Houston Blog!
http://bayareahouston.blogspot.com/

This is a new blog hosted by community activist John Cobarruvias. The area used to be called the Clear Lake area, but recently has been named Bay Area Houston, so this is the Bay Area Houston blog dedicated to discussing issues surrounding the NASA/Clear Lake area.

This is in DeLay's district and of course, he will be the topic of discussion many times. Come on by and see what you think!!!

1. Hey I was wondering when you were going to come tell us
I found out about it from PDittie's blog.

Congratulations John! You're going to be busy keeping up with all the DeLay crimes in your area, but on the other hand you live in a good area that needs some real media coverage.

Did you hear about DeLay's phone records getting subpoenaed? Plus something to do with a car purchase. Ronnie is still digging up the dirt.

Earle is seeking the records and information from Sept. 1, 2001, to Dec. 31, 2002, the period when a political committee founded by DeLay, Texans for a Republican Majority, was raising money for the 2002 election cycle.

He also wants Toyota Motor Credit Corp. of Torrance, Calif., to turn over records on a 2004 Toyota Sienna Earle alleges was bought by DeLay. White said the minivan was leased as a campaign car in 2003, well after the fundraising for the Texas committee.

7. Have you gone attack dog on us?
I'm putting my money on Ronnie Earle in this fight. I'll take a Rottweiler over a cockroach any day.

If you haven't seen the ad you can see it here
http://www.freeenterprisefund.org/media/media_top.php

The Daily DeLay is keeping busy these days. So much crime, so few indictments to go around.

http://dailydelay.blogspot.com/
That's why the subpoenas Ronnie Earle issued yesterday that cover phone records from September 1 to December 31, 2002 are so interesting in the context of yesterday's other news story -- the documents related to the FEC audits which show DeLay's ARMPAC spent $100,000 in corporate soft money to influence five congressional races.

My question is this: Will Earle surface any interesting evidence from DeLay's phone records regarding the use of corporate funds in these five federal races?

Another observation is that Jim Ellis is certainly in very hot water now, as the executive director in 2002 of TRMPAC, and as the then- and now-executive director of ARMPAC... He may be looking at a federal investigation, too...

8. HA HA HA! You used THAT photo!
Sure, find the cleanest-cut looking version of Coby that any of us has ever seen, all cleaned up with a smile and a tie -- good NIGHT, John, between that photo and your bio, I kept reading to see what office you're running for! ;)

Congrats on your blog. I like it. Way to go!
