I learned this morning that Perry is the special guest at two July 4th services at my church. I had been looking forward to them. Darn.

when Governor Perry comes in, to pray that he repents and seeks forgiveness for his sins.

make a point.

Stand with your back to him while he's talking. If your pastor decides to make an issue of it, or kicks you out, hit the media again.

It worked last time. Churches are no place for partisan political speeches.

4. I would write a letter expressing worry about the church's tax-exempt

status. Tell them that you are worried that the "One Tough Gramma" will pull the church's tax-exempt status for having a partisan political address at the church. :)

5. Well, actually, this is a patriotic music service

with color guard etc., it's nice. I learned today Perry is to be "the narrator" Hopefully, that means no speech.
