Houston Mayor kisses DeLays ring for light rail....and gets a bus.

Mayor Bill White of Houston kissed tom delay ass for bringing federal funding for light rail to Houston, the same funding he has blocked for almost a decade.

He praised him for working in a bipartisan manner and showing leadership, yada yada yada. So what did Bill White get for all of this kissing up to?

A light rail vehicle with WHEELS! In my book that is called a BUS:

Yeah I was at the forum on Monday; heard the Mayor's announcement and thought the skies had opened and were raining manna again or something.

THIS was the bi-partisan wonder that we're presenting to the Feds???

What to do now? Do we ask the Feds to block it, to say "no" to the $1B until we come back with a RAIL plan?
