Democratic Transitions are underway to take on Republicans as they over-reach on every front. Chris Bell, Nick Lampson and others are gearing up to lead the Democratic Party’s revitalized thrust to return our government to the people.

We know that Chris Bell is exploring a run for Texas governor. Here's your chance to hear and ask questions. He’ll be at our meeting on Monday, May 9th at 6:30pm sharp. Find out Chris’ plans for the coming campaign.

Nick Lampson, former congressman from the U.S. 9th congressional district, has announced his run against the ethically-challenged Tom DeLay. While Gordon Quan is considering the campaign, Lampson has plunged into the “no holds barred” campaign to be the congressman who represents his constituents rather than the Beltway Bandit lobbyists. He’ll be there at about 7:00 pm.

Harris County Democrats, an independent organization of citizen Democrats created in 1953, pioneered and continues to aggressively pursue a progressive political agenda in Harris County.
