Texas Republicans reluctantly accept retreat on ethics rules

**So..... Hastert says, we're rolling 'em back and THESE Republicans have a problem with becoming more ethical.

Texas Republicans have grudgingly backed House Speaker Dennis Hastert, who said today he was willing to scrap controversial new ethics rules.

...."I don't know that I'm necessarily uncomfortable with the way things are right now," said Rep. Michael Burgess, R-Flower Mound. "The rules we put in are not bad rules."

1. "The rules we put in are not bad rules."
But he has to admit there are bad Congressmen.

He's pissed. He lost a biggun here. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

6. Oh, he was walking through somewhere (after he left AF1 I guess) and
a gaggle of reporters were following him, asking questions about the house changeing the rules back and things like that, he conspicuously sped up his gait, and said thing like just leave me alone, and where's security?

It wasn't a major incident, but you sure could tell he was a very unhappy camper!!!!
