1. Mine too
Andrews. I know where his loyalty lies now. No more votes for him.

3. Roll Call URL

I'm, as usual, really annoyed with Edwards. Every major bill in this and last session since I started paying attention has been a vote with the Republicans.

4. E B J, Nay!
Hensarling Yea. No surprise there, the big Rethug copycat. (I really am E B J's constituent, but since I used to be in Hensarling's district I claim them both now. One to bitch at and one to be happy with. :7)

6. I don't have a representative in Congress.
Instead there are Republicans in the Senate and one in Congress from my district.

10. I think the way to deal with these guys come 2006
is to tie them all to Tom DeLay: make posters of them as "puppets" being operated by DeLay's string-pulling (maybe with the little monopoly guy pouring $$$ into Tom's pockets.) I bet that some of these clowns have voting records that have been in lock-step with TD for YEARS.

Is there ANYONE in your life - your spouse, your best friend, your identical twin? - who you agree with 100% of the time??? On EVERYTHING? Of course not. We need to show that these guys are not thinking for themselves and are NOT representing the people of their districts, but have just been puppets jerked around by Tom DeLay. I think it would work in my Houston area district (7th- Culberson) at least. The crash from TD's fall needs to reverberate well beyond the 22nd District!

19. I actually called his office and asked for an explanation
for houstondemocrats.com. His public affairs person called to tell me I'd hear from him. So far nothing.

21. Al Green himself called me yesterday
He wanted the entire conversation "off the record" but I can say that he agreed to send me an email to publish explaining why he voted for it.

15. Chet Edwards - what a disappointment
We didn't put him in there to vote for all the same stuff that Arlene Wohlgemuth would have voted for. Somebody talk some sense into this boy, please!

22. Tell him what you think:
email: http://edwards.house.gov/html/contact_form_email.cfm

Congressman Chet Edwards
2264 Rayburn Building
Washington, D.C. 20515-4311
(202)-225-6105
FAX: (202)-225-0350

I don't think that he can afford to alienate the base. I doubt that he could survive as a DINO.

He has done a good job with Social Security and veterans issues. I won't question his Schiavo vote. The bankruptcy vote stinks.

24. Every time he hears about it
I'm watching today to see how he votes on that pathetic energy bill. Already called him to see if we could find out his position, but the one person in the DC office who answers the phone had no idea. Informed staffers versus finding out after the fact.

23. Ortiz voted Yes. Disappointing.
The bill will have a disproportionately bad effect on his South Texas district.
