People lined up already out to the parking lot....
already at 6:30 a.m.(Nashville) as I passed by one of the local voting precincts on my way to work this morning. More cars were pulling in the parking lot. I hope the turnout is this heavy EVERYWHERE!

1. Large lines outside polls in Chicago
Polls opened at 6am, 6:30am there were lines outside. Showed it on the news, and said similar things going on around Chicago!!!

2. Heavy here in Pittsburgh.
I was the first person to vote in my precinct. The line was up the stairs, out the door and into the yard already as I left.

3. The streak is alive ...
I have yet to see another voter at my polling place. I have been voting in the same place for the past 11 years. I have NEVER seen another voter at the polling place while I was there to vote.

Wierd since all you hear about are 4 - 8 hour lines to vote.

Hope IS on the way.

Cheers
Drifter

5. I am located in Rochester NY
specifically in the town of Brighton. I think I must be in an unusually small precinct. The voter rolls appear to be a few pages (no more than 10 ?) stapled together.

Cheers

6. Rain Effect?
I hope all the Kerry voters have umbrellas with them. No rain yet downtown, but we're supposed to get wailed on at some point.
