Question about early voting.

Someone told me that early votes and absentee votes are not counted unless the results are close. Is this true? We were wanting to vote early but wanted to make sure our vote counted.

1. This is the first I have ever heard that....

I doubt it to be true. Noone at the Democratic headquarters where I have been volunteering part-time has ever suggested anything to reflect this to be the case as we are making calls and informing people about early voting.

This is a trick...turn people off to early voting and then on election day pull some stunts like road block and the sort...
