Whom did I meet at the Kerry arrival in Nashville last night?...
Edited on Wed Sep-01-04 04:05 PM by TN al
...I held my American Legion card in the air before his arrival. I was noticed by some and made friends with those around me. Were any of them you by chance?

1. I wish I *could* have gone....
I would have loved to have been in the room with so many Kerry supports upon his arrival.

Did everyone seem energized? I read there were some protesters, did you encounter any of them? Tell me about YOUR experience since you were there!

2. I didn't see any protesters at all...
...I would have to call anyone who claims there were protesters a liar. It was a great democratic crowd with everyone friendly and happy. There was no disagreement at all, none. Everyone was energized then Kerry came in and electrified the crowd even more. The speakers were Phil Bredesen, Harold Ford, John Glenn and then Kerry. Everyone there was united. You could feel it from all.

3. That is wonderful to hear....
wish I could have been there. I hope Tennessee will go with Kerry in November. I'm certainly doing my best to see that it happens.

5. 3500 people...
...is the head count we were told while at the rally. Some said they thought there were more, but someone else reported the head count was 3500 an hour before his arrival.
