1. That ad is disgusting and she's a disgusting POS for making

it and trying to stand by it. I saw it this morning and it was followed by clip of Cohen explaining that the Klan had been very violent to Jews, also. That was followed by a clip of the mayor or one of his aids stating that the proposal had been dropped because it would have required digging up two graves and he looked pissed.

That was followed by a group of about 20 African American civic leaders at a press conference denouncing her and the ad and stating that people became very uncomfortable with the proposal because of removing the 2 gravesites, and the proposal was dropped.

That ad is as nasty and in most cases nastier than anything that I've seen the GOP produce. I immediately thought of the ads run against Max Cleland and others when their pictures were morphing into Bin Laden. I hope that Emily's List is proud to be supporting her. :sarcasm: Perhaps they'll better understand my position when I let them know about a year ago that they'd never get another penny from me.

Other than Cohen's early support for Obama, why do you think that this will negatively effect Obama's chances in TN?

The TN GOP would embrace the Klan ad, not object to it. :shrug:

The good news is that Ford finally saw the light from the nation wide negative publicity that his chosen candidate was receiving and probably felt like he had to say something.

It sure will be nice when this state can reach a status where we're not the joke of the nation. :hi:
