Very Much Up for Grabs
I took a look at TN's major cities on Fundrace.org

Chattanooga & Knoxville - Edwards, hands down
Nashville - Obama, then Edwards
Memphis - Clinton, Obama, Eds.

If the Eastern part of the state comes out in droves, I think it goes to Edwards. Otherwise it's a toss-up.

1. You can bet the Eastern part WILL come out in droves, but they are
mostly Repubs & will be voting AGAINST us, as usual.

I believe the only candidate in the top 3 that won't illicit that response is Edwards.
You can bet that they will come out in mass to defeat a woman or a black. 'Cause "that ain't what God intended!":P

3. Makes me feel better about my decision.
I am registered in TN and still own a house there but I am residing in GA. I debated whether to change my residency based on where my vote would count the most. Decided to vote absentee in TN. Glad to hear my vote might help JE.

4. If you mean will Dems cross party lines,
there will be some who will. There are still a lot of "conservative" Democrats that would NEVER vote for a black man. There are lots of males who would NEVER vote for a woman. It is a backward way of thinking, but it is still prevalent here.

We've got to remember that not ALL Dems are as progressive as us here at DU.

As far as Repukes go, they will make sure to turn out to defeat either a black man or a woman.

7. Pardon me I am doing a little under ground national poll study
I think Edwards needs this win.And I do not want any of my poll findings to reach any pollsters.

8. It,s not about turning a page: Poll study
The win for Edwards here is about writing in to those pages the pages that are clearly missing. This is the area that poll results are showing as those polls become moreso unpredictable. What is missing in those pages is also clearly not there in the polls although the polls are showing just that. What (that) is , is also what is missing.Unpredictable polls means no clear choice of the people by the polls own method which is out of date.

And so the victory here for Edwards is victory for the people in the choice of the people when the people have decided. It is indeed going to be a very long road to victory.

9. Where in East TN?
I only know a handful of Dems near Morristown. I actually had an elderly woman approach me in a grocery store parking lot in 2004 who whispered (clearly didn't want anyone else to hear), "I like your bumper-sticker (Kerry/Edwards.)"

11. The dividing differentations
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 03:20 PM by Wash. state Desk Jet
Reading time is not so easy.Ahead of time in place is common and easy to see.
As is displacement in time. You can be ahead of your time ,but you cannot be in two places at the same time.

The missing pages that have not been written and are not there and therefore are disreguarded. If than you are ahead of your time to begin with ,what is not there cannot possibly exist ,hence moving forword in time because you believe all else has failed. Whereas the failure remains foevermore within those pages left unwritten are never going to be as you see it not.And so think not, which is nothing more than finding ways aroud the greater aspects of the problem as it is, by way of the future . And so if you are ahead of your
time as time began than you must believe in youself in that you are correct of your choice.

Why must we leave it to the historians to tell future generations just where it is we went wrong today?
Is it not our responsibility as ownners of this government to see threw the wrong and make it right in our time and in the hear and now?

We cannot advance time but we can stay in step with time.

I am left with hand in command of my pen. Too far is far enough.

You can build a road for the horse to walk a straight path to the water hole and that still doesn,t mean the horse will drink.

If you say it is far to far out of control reguards corruption and the way it,s been for far too long , than doesn,t that also mean that you should step back from that old way of leading the horses to water? Isn,t there something wrong what part of ? Isn,t that just the truth?

12. The fishing industry
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 05:01 PM by Wash. state Desk Jet
Those drag net fishing vessels are out there on the waters of this earth scraping threw the oceans scooping everything good and of natural balance out of the waters leaving fifty percent of nothing left for furture gain as thoss Bush,s do now know, which happens to be why they left the gain for others to snatch .

But thats just one way of doing it as you just may well know and there has been no vision of perfect laid in the form of a corner stone.
And wanting for the sake of wanting adds up to nothing more than fifty percent of nothing to gain. Thinking change and being short changed.

And yet those nets are set in the same ruthless ways just as wrong as it is. Be it fish from the sea or your vote.

Con,s do indeed lie ,do they not?

And the ways must be changed.

It is time to start digging a new well.
If you want change all you need do is ecept change and from there pass it on. Is there anything new or special or unique about it? Is there some type of new found change in the works? Or are we being coned again? Are we being fool again? Are are we willing to see it for what it is in truth befor it goes down this time, not after it,s been done? And in time and time again.
That old political flim flam. Short changed again (?)

No thankyou Sir , not buying it. The only thing you all party poopers have demonstated out here in the field is that it is all about me, me, me.

That,s what came out in South Carolina. The two central candidates equaling three with Mr. C. We shall not be fooled by this foolishness ever again.
And we will not be short changed.

13. It seems only too perfect
Edited on Tue Jan-29-08 04:39 PM by Wash. state Desk Jet
That the state of Tennessee with it,s rich history deep into the beginnings of this nation which rose to greatness be the state that sets in motion what is to become the established voice of the people threw the mood of the nation by demonstrating threw victory a candidate for the presidency who is without a doubt in direct representation of the peoples voice in the here and now and forevermore.

This victory for John Edwards Is truely the voice of the people saying to both partys and all insider king pins, we have had enouh with you all running this nation into the ground, we have had too much of greed moungers having there way with this planet, We wiil not have failing party leadership reguardless to party, scoop our votes up ruthlessly as are the fish from the seas . This victory is a message to them all , that to far is just as far as it goes.

This victory is about the people standing up to what is wrong and for what is right by saying the ways will change by demand order and the old ways stop right here and right now.

And that,s just as perfect as it gets.

Be it the Kennedy machine or the Bush battalion ,it stops right here and right now.

14. A Nation Divided
They split it like a stock, on one end we are all prisoners of war and on the other ,well, they want to quater it.
And so if it,s all about holding out for hope as one member of congress already suggested ,hell lets face it ,it,s world war three ,maybe we should involk the draft.

Well that,s why the country is on it,s way to being quartered. But maybe that member of congress got the idea right although he,s on train heading in the wrong direction.

Since no party has it right maybe we should involk the draft and draft a presidential candidate equal to the task. After all isn,t that really what it,s all about?

And thats just where the truth lies.
