Whoa - Voter rolls swell 16,000 (Nashville City Paper)
An estimated 16,000 residents registered to vote in Davidson County last week, according to Interim Administrator of Elections Ray Barrett, and those numbers are expected to continue to rise as the November presidential and state general election draws closer.

Barrett predicts that the county will have a record turnout this year because new voter registrations have been steadily coming in at the Davidson County Election Commission, sometimes in excess of 1,000 per day.

2. I sure hope they plan to vote for Kerry/Edwards.....
I have seen several Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers and yard signs around the Davidson county area. I hope that is going on in other counties as well.
