Some robocall from a group called Commonsense TN. Caller ID was in Virginia.
The poll starts by asking me who I intend to vote for. It then asks if I'm in favor of lower taxes. I immediately see where this is going so I say "no" just to play games. I then here that Harold Ford voted to raise taxes ten times and Corker loves low taxes. It then asks me about a variety of issues and then has nasty things to say about Ford on each of them and then ends the poll by asking me again who I intend to vote for.
Seems like this would turn people off more than anything, but I guess someone thinks these things work. I personally would hope the Dems would NEVER use this kind of campaign tactic.
1. I got that call and so did another person I talked to at our headquarters
yesterday. Our calls were 'sponsored by CommonSense Ohio'. My response to 2 of the questions were, "This is a bogus question," and then, "This is a bullshit question."
I wondered if this was being done statewide and I suppose that it is.
As did several of my friends and family members. Pretty slick method because every question was cleverly designed to get you to answer the way they wanted and then bombard you with anti-Ford material.
4. I also got it, went along and played with them as long as I could..prevent
them from calling another person! I hate this campaign has come to this, but we should have known, the Rove guys are brutal and unfortunately effective.
