Crashing a campaign event

What's this bit about Ford crashing a Corker campaign event?

1. From what I read in the paper and saw on local TV it was as this short

article stated. Ford went to the Memphis airport (I think) to confront Corker about that tacky ad and they exchanged words in the parking lot.

Even though Corker has denounced the ad I saw it twice before 7 this morning. Corker has stated that it's illegal for him or his campaign to directly contact the RNC who produced the ad, and I want more info. on that. It just doesn't seem right to me for some reason.
