Carmike Theaters caves to F-911 Popularity
A visit to their website confirms they will be playing F-911 after all. Nothing like the scent of money.

http://www.carmike.com

I have no idea if it will play at all their theaters, but these are the cities they serve in Tennessee:

Antioch
Athens
Chattanooga
Clarkesville
Cookeville
Crossville
Dyersburg
Franklin
Goodlettsville
Greenville
Hixson
Johnson City
Knoxville
Lafollette
Lebanon
Madison
Maryville
Morristown
Murfreesboro
Nashville
Oneida
Springfield

3. Knoxville, Regal opened second screen for F 9/11
They had only one screen showing it at the multiplex and they opened another screen yesterday.

So much for conservative East Tennessee!

Yeayyyy!

4. 2:30pm showing on weekday very crowded...
I was surprised when my co-workers and I took some time from work to catch a 2:30 showing on a Tuesday. The theater was fairly full, but not sold out...

Great to see the availability of the movie growing in this highly conservative town. Did you notice or see anybody near the theater registering voters? This movie doesn't mean dick if we don't utilize it to mobilize the vote against Dub-ya.

6. THIS SUCKS
I stopped by the Cookeville Carmike over the weekend to ask when F-911 would be playing.

The box office was manned by the two obligatory high-school twits. Twit Number One: We're waiting to see if it's successful. If it does well, we might carry it.

I was speechless. There was no point in explaining to them that it is setting records, making lots of money, etc., etcetera. The Twit Shield was far too strong to be penetrated with mere logic.

I'll have to go to Nashville after all.
