Question on Bredesen
I noticed on the democratic governor site that he is up for re-election next year. Does anybody know if he's running again? I hope so!

1. We all assume so. He's certainly acting like it. And, I think he
enjoys it.

3. He's running again.
I keep hearing DUers say that he might run for president or be tapped for VP.
The latter may be true - and if he is, more power to him. But I'm very positive he'll run again.

4. Yay!
I hope so. I hope he also runs for president. I remember reading a blog in January that talked about him and he, at that point, had a 70% raiting and was asked about running for president and someone said he wasn't interested. Of course things can change. I'd love him to be president or VP. He's orginially from the north but is more southern then Bush is I think. I wonder how he would do.

5. One thing's for sure, his accent isn't "put on" like Bush's
He speaks like any other well-educated Southerner - with the hint of the Southern lilt, but with proper wording.

He's originally from upstate New York - not exactly urban - so he's been able to fit in nicely to the more rural voters.

6. Right
I couldn't remember where up north but new it was either New York, Maine or something like that. I think he fits nicely too. On the Tennessee website he has audio footage and you can hear messages from him there. He doesn't pretend to be a born Tennesseean like Bush does with Texas. Know what I mean? I think he's doing a pretty good job. Next year I wanna get a Bredesen bumper sticker for my car. ;) Hopefully they'll have some at the local party headquarters.
