Cross-Post// Ellsberg gets a reprieve from closure: a boost to Thune
The LA TImes article is on both the Ellsberg base remaining open for the forseeable future and a base in New Mexico remaining open until at least 2009. The Wash Post article is a paean implying Thune accomplished this single-handedly and that it will give his Senatorial career a huge boost. Here's the main thread with excerpts and comments in GD-P:
