Who do you have car insurance with?

I had it with State Farm for years and years, now I've got it with Geico.

They went up just a little this time, but still, it's an increase.

Who do you think is the most economical in SC?

1. state farm
I have my house and car with them, so I get a discount. I called Geico once and they wanted my 5 year driving history. I asked if they were going to verify it anyway and they said yes, but I still needed to tell them. I told them to forget it.

2. Allstate
Mine just went up, too, even though I have a clean driving record and an old car. It goes up about 10 bucks every six months. My homeowner's insurance is with them, as well. I suspect this never-ending increase is a South Carolina issue. I think we are paying through the nose for all the idiots here who can't drive, and who refuse to wear their seatbelts. Gotta wonder if the insurance companies are also taking the lack of driving-while-texting/talking-on-cell-phone bans, as well.

4. Another thing, now, when you get a ticket, they hold it against you for 5 years.

One of my siblings got one in Forest Acres (Columbia, SC). This was a speeding ticket, not DUI or anything.
Just recently the 5 years is over.

It used to be 3 years they'd hold it against you. You gotta know that's just a gimmick for the insurance companies to get more money. :puke:

3. HartfordAuto
I have my car insurance with The Hartford auto insurance (http://www.hartfordauto.com/?PLcode=640018). My parents have both car and homeowner insurance with them and they get good discounts because they have both policies combined from The Hartford.

5. Who do you have car insurance with?
I have covered my car and other automobiles with 'CompareInsurance'. You can get online quotes from different players here. It's the easiest way to get the best quotes from Insurance giants. You might get the free cover for your vehicles if you're lucky. I'd recommend you CompareInsurance.co.uk

6. I've been with State Farm (in different States) for 20 years. . .but I'd love
to know who else I could go to! I am currently paying about $395.00 every six months for a 2010 Honda CRV

Does that sound about right, high or low???
