Now "they" are trying to bring anti-labor legislation to PA!
Corbett says he would sign right-to-work legislation.

"HARRISBURG -- Republican Gov. Tom Corbett would sign right-to-work legislation if the General Assembly sends him a bill, his spokesman said today.

Rep. Daryl Metcalfe, R-Cranberry, said he expects to introduce legislation in about a month that would ban requiring employees in the public and private sector to join unions as a condition of employment. Unions say such legislation would undercut their efforts even in places with established unionized work forces."

FORTUNATELY..... Corbett does not consider this move a priority, according to the article.

Here is the disturbing part, though:

"Metcalfe acknowledged that passage of a right-to-work bill will be "uphill" in Pennsylvania but said he is counting on grassroots support and possibly tea party activists to carry the message to legislators. "

1. K&R- I have no doubt they will do their worst-PA is still a relatively strong Union state,
and teh Right Wingers really hate that. They can't stand to have "the small people" with even a little power over their own lives, an besides, most ot eht times unions support those terrible "socialist" things like safe workplaces, women's rights and stuff.
The GOP wants to take us all back to around 1880 or so-political patronmage for public jobs instead of civil service, no unions, no safety or environmental laws...you know, back to the REAL America...absolute rule of the rich.

We have to fignt them everywhere we can.
