Where can I get numbers for PA?
with over a million registered dems over repubs, I can't believe Toomey took the state. Corbett, I'm not surprised, I chalk it up to Rendell fatigue. But Toomey? shit.

1. Try this site - link:
http://www.electionreturns.state.pa.us/

FWIW, we voted in PA6 at 10:50 AM - we were #s 82 and 83...there was almost NO turnout in the AM, there was no one but the workers in tha place the whole time we were there. I hoped there would be a great turnout after work, but evidently I was wrong.

This is a disaste for PA state - Our Governoe elect was supported by Christie from Jersey, who seems to be the 'publican model for governors - union busting, closing and ending public services, cutting state jobs, paying his people huge money.

The GOP here pretty much swept our legislature, too...I have very few hopes for the future here in PA.

3. 40 Districts in Philadelphia county not yet counted? It 5:00 pm on 11/3/2010
Edited on Wed Nov-03-10 04:11 PM by happyslug
The other 13 districts not yet counted are out of Delaware County.

I doubt they is an additional 77,437 votes in those 53 districts for Sestak for most districts are quite small in number of voters.

4. No, I think PA will be on the decline. We have a population now which is mostly elderly.
The young people can't wait to get out and businesses haven't wanted to invest in this old stale state for years. PA is a dying state and with Repubs at the helm, much of what is needed to improve the state will be voted down by the Republican controlled congress, because they will cut services and leave people without in order to not raise taxes.

5. Plus, the redistricting the GOP will lay on us will cripple the Democratic party
as much as the GOP can possibly do - we have so little say in state government as of Tuesday, we might as well not exist.
