Court rejects NRA gun law challenge.

A three-judge panel of Commonwealth Court on Friday upheld the dismissal of a challenge to Pittsburgh's lost and stolen gun law, finding that the National Rifle Association and four individuals lacked the legal standing to bring the case.

1. This is a standing case, nothing else

The court still left it open that if someone is actually arrested for violating this statute that person could then challenge the legality of the city Ordinance.

The actual opinion is NOT yet online, but no court has ruled one way or another as to the City Ordinance itself, but that the mere fact that one MAY be affected does NOT give a person standing to challenge the law.
