Solar in portland

Has anyone had the opportunity to put up solar panels here in the Portland area? or know anyone who has? Is it worth doing?

the co-op program here in the Richmond neighborhood when an inspector looked at my back yard. "That sure is a big, beautiful Douglas fir you got there. Too bad it would shade the solar panels about half the time." The tree stays.

2. Solarworld is headquartered up here in Hillsboro in the U.S...

They are foreign owned, but they are a growing business here.

As noted on this page, it is also worth studying Freiburg in Germany and how it has become a solar power center there in an area where there's also not a lot of sunlight as well.

Though there are probably more rays of sunlight in California and Arizona, etc., that doesn't mean that solar power isn't an option up here in the northwest.
