Oregon isn’t such a blue state any more, at least for the next two years.

The Oregon Republican Party came roaring back to life Tuesday, with a strong showing in the governor’s race and unexpectedly large gains in legislative races that put the GOP back in the thick of setting public policies for the state. Much of the party’s gains came in the Portland suburbs, such as Gresham, Hillsboro, Clackamas and surrounding areas.

 Dems hold 100% of their congressional delegation and the governorship in the disastrous 2010 midterm election, yet the Oregon GOP is "roaring back to life"!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

1. What Is Is With The Media Loving the GOP?

It's bizarre. Business does better under the Democrats - when the Republicans aren't obstructing them - but if GOPers do well anywhere and they start getting giddy like kids on Christmas morning.

They aren't going to be doing better under Republicans. I just don't get it.

Of course, it isn't like anyone I know gets any real news from the (heh) Portland Tribune anyway. They can't GIVE it away. It's a FREE paper, and they can't GIVE it away … TriMet riders who forget the book they were going to read on the commute in to work are their primary constituency.
