Portland Mayor Race: Let Francesconi have it for Smear Ad

Some of us in Portland are having our AAR KPOJ AM 620 experiences tainted by a smear of candidate Tom Potter (definitely the people's Dem). The ad may be on other stations in PDX as well.

"I am Jim Francesconi, and I approved this ad," says Potter's opponent, the big business candidate who is very tight with lots of folks (from Lake Oswego, Beaverton, etc.) many of whom are also contibutors to such people as George W. Bush, Gordon Smith, Goli Ameri, etc.

Thanks for info on how to get a message to him and his campaign. I've been leaning toward Potter based on what I know about him, which isn't enough, and what I know about Francesconi, which is getting to be too much.

Anyone who wants to tell me why I should commit fully to Potter is more than welcome to give me what for. In fact, I'd appreciate it.

5. Sheesh. I just got an E-mail reply from his campaign manager.

What a piece of work. She just continued to put on the sleaze routine, bashing Potter all the way.

I'm done even thinking about Francesconi, at this point in time. In fact, I may even volunteer for Potter.

I hate smear campaigns, especially one-way smear campaigns. I definitely won't be voting for Francesconi now.

I about puked when I heard those ads. I can't believe how low Francesconi is willing to go. Because he's been on the city council so long, he feels a sense of entitlement, and he seems willing to do anything to win.

I voted for Potter in the primaries, and I'm voting for him again in the election. I hope he wins in a landslide.
