Wyden Position on Censure: Translation Needed!
Okay, I just called Senator Wyden's office to try and pin down whether or not he's going to support Feingold's censure resolution. The phone staffer referred me to Wyden's website, where a statement had been posted. After reading this:

http://wyden.senate.gov/media/speeches/2006/03162006_Feingold_Censure_Statement.html

I still don't know whether or not the man is going to vote for censure. The statement sure makes it sound as if he will, but Wyden cleverly omitted any definitive yea or nay. Does it read that way to other people, or am I just being a cynic and a pessimist?

1. It sure sounds like he will support it
You're right, though, there is no definitive answer. Written like a true politician.

2. I'm thinking he's leaning toward support
As you've noted, the omission of a declaration one way or the other is more than glaring. Still, I do glean some semblance of supportive tendencies from the overall tone, and his comment that, "I understand the frustration that led Senator Feingold to introduce this resolution and support his right to do so without becoming the target of personal attacks questioning his patriotism and loyalty to his country," seems to offer a hint as to why he isn't obvious about it.
