Oregon theatres for Fahrenheit 9/11 opening night
from http://www.f911tix.com/results.php?st=OR
Ashland, OR Varsity Theatre

Hillsboro, OR Regal Tualatin Valley Highway 16

Portland, OR Century 16 Eastport

Portland, OR Regal Fox Tower 10

Portland, OR Regal Lloyd Mall 8

THIS MEANS NO ONE IN RURAL OR COASTAL OREGON GETS TO SEE IT OPENING NIGHT.

Nothing in Corvallis or Eugene or Salem or Springfield or Astoria or Lincoln City or Bend. FOUR theatres in Portland, ONE in Ashland, nothing anywhere else.

Suck.

Perhaps it's time for a few phone calls...

1. Bummer!
I live near Bend, so this is disappointing. Maybe F911 will make it east of the mountains one of these days, but I'm not betting on it. So far I've been too chicken to put my "Democratic Underground" bumper sticker on my car. Tough crowd in these parts!

If you see the movie, let us know what you think.

Alternatively, we can get some calls going to the theatres in Bend.

6. Okay, Organism...
Ya got me! I'll call Old Mill and ask them. Saw "Day After Tomorrow" there a few weeks ago. Maybe there's hope they'll consider F911. I'm attending a get-together for a local candidate soon, so will talk it up there. Keep the faith!

2. I live on the Southern Or. coast and Portland is to far to drive...I can't
understand why it is not opening in Eugene...Eugene is a pretty liberal city.

3. I guess Ashland isn't any closer, eh?

Might be something in Northern California. Eureka and Bakersfield have theatres showing it.

Or maybe we can make some calls to Eugene and Corvallis. There's no excuse for this not to be opening in two major university cities.

5. The more they try to suppress this film the more people will want to see
it. Michael Moore was one of the first public figures to dare to make strongly anti-Bush statements publicly. I will never forget his public statements upon receiving his Oscar and the booing that ensued. This courageous man has been "pointman" in the political attack against the Bush Administration. Pointman means the first man in a column of troops say, heading into and through, known to be enemy territory. Michael Moore has and is doing just that and deserves the gratitude of our Nation. I propose that he receive "The Medal of Freedom" when John F. Kerry becomes our next President. He has earned it. ...Oscar

7. opening night...
Is distribution going to expand or is this it? Don't some movies start in a few theaters and grow? well I hope so because I'm stuck in Salem so oh well I guess I'll have to see "white chicks" instead.

8. I'm surprised at Eugene
of all places, you'd think Eugene would have at least one screen. it would be sold out for weeks.
