contact info for civilian review boards for police in Hillsboro/Portland?

Basically, what I heard is that the auditing/etc. done on police actions (e.g. the demonstration smashings a.k.a. police riots) is carried out by something called a "civilian review board."

So I'm trying to figure out how to get on a civilian review board, and thereby watchdog to prevent police brutality.

There's some concern that the "official" auditor's IPR/CRC is basically just there to cover up for the cops, so they can give lip service to civilian review and accountability. Portland Copwatch is a grass-roots organization which provides some much-needed oversight of the IPR as well as the police dept.

I was hoping to get on one of those affairs directly.

3. Good luck with that. It's "by appointment only" AFAICT.

4. as I expected ... the accountability process is corrupt

And, of course, if copwatch shows up to monitor police actions at protests they'll just get gassed, peppersprayed, beaten, arrested, and their cameras confiscated like anyone else.
