Residents Report Mysterious 'Boom,' 'Shaking' In Metro Area
Source: TV 9 News

OKLAHOMA CITY -- News 9 received several calls just before 11 a.m. with reports that they heard what sounded like an "explosion" and felt the ground shake.

Several people reported feeling the ground shake in Midwest City and Del City. A few calls were also received from southeast Oklahoma City.

6.  Travis AFB is in Northern California
The TAFB comment may be referring to Tinker Air Force Base located outside Oklahoma City.

14. Tinker Air force Base is in Midwest City
I made a mistake of renting a place about 500 Meters from the engine test stands. Those make the ground shake too.

I know that town well.

3. It might have been a meteor breaking up in the atmosphere!
I understand that there are several events like this every year. This came out when NASA did a report on asteroid near-misses. Meteors causing these booms are just under the size that might cause damage on the surface of the earth.

They've got alien bodies there, I just know it. Maybe one of 'em wasn't dead and woke up and got loose?

18. That's my take. At least I hope it is. What a refreshing turn of events.
I think the Hopi have predicted something along these lines.

Just hope it's not the reptilians coming back for another planetary smorgasbord again.

Although on the other hand, it might not be that bad if they eat as fast as those Jurassic Park raptors.

Oh, well, it's always something.

:woohoo:
